Bioinformatics Scientist, Translational Sciences

We are looking for a full-time Bioinformatics Scientist to join the Translational team. This individual will utilize their strong bioinformatics expertise and critical thinking skills to support the company’s push towards driving lead programs into the clinic, as well as contribute intellectually to pipeline expansion.

We are offering a competitive salary and benefits package for an individual with the following qualifications and experience:


  • Analyze large genomic/transcriptomic data-sets to generate testable hypothesis
  • Analyze ChipSeq, ATAC-Seq, etc. with experience of integrating these data types with others (e.g., microRNA seeds sites, chromatin marks, TFBS’s, etc.) to discover novel mechanism of action (MOA)
  • Experience at developing and running RNA-seq pipelines to process both mRNA and miRNA sequencing data
  • Experience in building data infrastructure to manage multiple biomarker data-types and make them accessible to biologists
  • Explore cutting edge AI/ML modalities to support elucidation of novel biology and help map out potential clinical indications
  • Drive biology and translation efforts and support strategic direction for our flagship programs
  • Manage contract research organizations (CRO) for outsourced activities and infrastructure
  • Participate and present in both internal and external research meetings



  • Ph.D. with 2-5 years experience in preferably pharmaceutical industrial setting
  • Demonstrated scientific knowledge in cancer biology and/or RNA-dependent regulatory mechanisms
  • R/Python experience
  • Strong presenting and communication skills, with attention to detail
    • Proven team player among cross-functional disciplines
    • Motivated, independent self-starter comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment
    • Molecular and cell biology experience a plus
